The Lord is our refuge. He alone has saved us through the teachings and sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ. This is what is my focus in my daily life. It is not done effectively at all times but
God has blessed me with the want to read His Word daily. What a gift this is! Thank you God.

I like how Isaiah asks in verse 17 "Why, lord, do you make us wonder from your ways..?" But earlier in verse 9 he says "In all their distress he too was distressed and the angel of his presence saved them."
ReplyDeleteSomehow, in our Orwellian ways we can keep both of those contradictory thougts of God causing trouble and being our refuge in our minds and use either when to our advantage!
