This chapter begins with the proclamation of God's Chosen One, Jesus Christ, whom is our salvation. Through Christ we are given the gift of eternal life. He bares the ultimate sacrifice
for our sin giving us communion with the Father. God's love is undefinable in words. I praise the
Lord for counting me worthy to come and worship Him through his only begotten Son. Through
Jesus and Jesus alone I am counted as one of God's children, Allelulia!

In talking about Jesus, God says, "I've bathed him with my Spirit, my life."
ReplyDeleteWhy is Faith so alive right now? Because God has done the same to us. The Holy Spirit is alive and well in our midst. We are "waiting expectantly for God's teaching".
Why are we here?
"I have set you among my people to bind them to me, and provided you as a lighthouse."
This is where I stopped short in my tracks. Yesterday, I wrote a draft of my newsletter article, announcing something exciting regarding our summer worship. I quoted Psalm 149, "Sing to God a brand-new song."
Then what do I read in Isaiah 42, "Sing to God a brand-new song."
Is God trying to tell us something? "Is anyone paying attention to what's coming?"
Here's God's good news we can proclaim from the rooftops, "I'll be right there to show you what roads to take."
God is walking alongside of us as our guide. Amen.
